More Unwanted Growth

It starts as a bit of a laugh then it grows. You think at first its controllable but then it gets bigger and bigger. Everyone of them seem to be in on the act. There are definitely moments. when you want to shout, "Stop right there, and no further."   There are times when it's way too close for comfort and the trust of a steady hand is in the lap of the Gods.

But there is no stopping this juggeranuat. When it's done you feel like a huge weight has been lifted off your shoulders. And life can begin again without a hair on your body.

Shaving in India

1985; Wardour Street was seen from the window of Air Aeroflot the cheapest flight to India, the home where the shave per excellence is performed millions of times a day.

You ain't been shaved until you've been to India. Your face and neck is shaved twice, to make sure all is removed. And not only that , the hairs up yer nose are cut off as are the hairs at the back of your ears. BACK OF YOUR EARS! DID YOU HEAR THAT?

Cut throat razors, no disposables .. It cost about 5 rupees or 8 p. I went every four /five days .. sod the expense.

St Ives 2009

ZAP back to the present. it's thrashing it down. The English summer has started early. People are blaming everyone else for everything. She walks down the road, alone, apart from an obliging man with a camera and a couple hundred other people with nothing better to do than ogle at everything... oooggle oggogle ooogle oi oi oi. It was sunny before it became daylight. Now it rained and rained.
"There" she cried pointing to the huge balcony, " That's my future home." The man with the camera sympathised. He gave her a wink, then another one with the other eye. Wink wink. And off they went to the Wink Wink Hotel to drown her sorrows and dream of the future.

There's a Fire that never goes out

After nearly 8 months I got the fire going again.  I love the fire more than any other thing... well apart from food and water and me bed.  It's got this attraction.  Nothing special is happening and yet you can't take your eyes off it.  I love looking at it.
